We have opened a family property preservation company. After registering our company for credentials in Texas, Home Advisor contacted us to establish an account.
Foolishly, we did so and now we are out a minimum of $300 plus excessive banking fees to halt any further Home Advisor Pro hits to our financial institution. We were sent 2 leads immediately after signing up and thought this to be an unusually quick response. We did not contact the two leads, as they were both different names and addresses, but had the same phone number. We immediately knew to investigate complaints and articles about this scam and were extremely disappointed to find so many.
Yes! Home Advisor Pro Contractor Sign Up is a complete scam. There is someone sitting in their car right now enjoying the money that was scammed from our corporation. Certainly, they do not have an office or location.
Yes, we are a corporation, and do not take this Scamming Practice as acceptable. This is the first step we are taking to notify contractors who consider signing with Home Advisor Pro, but; will take further actions to expose this SCAM!
